Aaron’s Day
Our game at the Globe this coming Saturday v Penrhyncoch Football club in the JD Cymru Leagues will be in support of a 7-yr old Superhero called Aaron Wharton who is battling serious health issues. His young life has been tough, but the way he’s faced his illness is an inspiration to all of us. Aaron and his family live in Buckley, and will be our VIP guests this weekend; we’ll give him all the love he deserves and hopefully a day to remember for everyone.
Devastatingly, Aaron’s illness is now terminal and as you’d imagine, his parents can’t work full time, so we’re looking for the incredible Buckley gang to maybe take away some of the financial worry, and help Aaron’s amazing family create as many memories as they can.
Aaron will be on the pitch pre-match with the squad, and we’ll ensure that he spends some time with his favourite player, Max Moore. The proceeds of our Match Day raffle will be donated to Aaron’s family and we’d appreciate your help in any way.
You can read Aaron’s story and donate on a GoFundMe page set up by Max’s mum, please give whatever you can for our very special Young Buck and his family. We know times are tough, but let’s see if we can bring a little light to Aaron’s family and help them ‘Reach For The Stars’.
