BUCKLEY TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB: ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

Welcome to Buckley Town FC. We pride ourselves on promoting inclusion and diversity at Buckley and want to make your experience enjoyable in a safe and secure environment. We hope that this factsheet provides all of the information you require prior to your visit.

Parking and access: Car From the A55, join the A494 at the Ewloe exit. Head for Buckley on the B5127 (Liverpool Road), and stay on it until you pass the Garage on your right. Turn next left into Globe Way – The Globe is on the right after about 400yds. The turning for our car park is shown by the red circle in the centre of below map. The Globe has two accessible car park spaces. To reserve one please email secretary@btfc.cymru and indicate which match you are attending.

Train – Buckley Railway Station, Off Little Mountain Road, Buckley, Flintshire CH7 3AY Arriva Wrexham to Bidston Line 03333211202 Toilets – The Globe’s accessible toilet and this is situated at the front of the main building next to the players changing room entrance and accessed via a ramp.

Catering – The Tea Bar situated at the front of the main building has a low counter and accessed via a ramp. Wheelchair Users – Accessible seating is available in both stands with space for both wheelchairs and companions.

Assistance Dogs – We welcome assistance dogs at the ground with water points available on all four sides. Dog treats and poo bags are available at the turnstile, if required, and there is an area for dogs to relieve themselves.

Get to Know the Ground – Quiet walkabout sessions at the Globe are available all year round for anyone with sensory issues. It gives an opportunity to familiarise the stadium in readiness for a match day. Please email info@btfc.cymru to book.

Audio Commentary – We provide stewards to accompany visually impaired home or away spectators to give discriptive commentary and assistance during match days. To book please email info@btfc.cymru

Dementia Friendly – To indicate a change in floor level all steps at the ground are painted in bright yellow.

Medication and Equipment – To bring in medication or equipment (such as insulin or epi pens) please contact our team by emailing info@btfc.cymru – please indicate which match you will be attending together with the items that will be brought into the Globe. Our team will then issue you with a medical exemption certificate.
